Care and Use
Unless otherwise noted, our wood products are finished with walnut oil and then buffed and waxed with a hard carnauba wax. This provides a satiny, food-safe finish that brings out the natural richness of the wood. These items can be gently washed with warm soapy water, then dried with a soft cloth. They should never be placed in the dishwasher or into a microwave. If the bowls are used reguarly as cereal or salad bowls and the finish needs to be renewed, wiping with mineral oil obtainable from the pharmacy will revitalize them.
